Reward Credit Card – One Way To Increase Your Net Worth.
A lot of people when they think of credit cards, they think of paying high interest rates and getting into deep debt. That is the case with some people but it doesn’t have to be. There is the possibility that a person can make a profit off the credit card companies instead of it always being the other way around by using reward credit card. If a person can use their credit card discreetly and practice responsible spending habits then that person can make a profit off their credit card company.
The fact of the matter is that credit card companies want you to use their services. So they are willing to give you incentives to get your business. These incentives come in the form of rewards. The way this works is, every time you use your card for a purchase, you get so much of a reward per the amount of money that you charge to your card. These rewards come in different forms and in different increments. Two of the main forms are points and cash back.
Cash back is my favorite. I like it because you can increase your net worth just by using a piece of plastic to do what you would be doing anyway, only now you are getting paid for it. The cash back plans are different from card to card. Some give you 5% on purchases at certain places and 1% every else. Some pay you as much as 20% cash back on purchases. Isn't that great!
The other main reward option that credit card companies is points. You get so many points for dollars spent that you can redeem for certain services or certain merchants. One of the most common is for hotel or motel visits, but there are other options as well. Also some credit card companies reward with airline miles that can be redeemed for flights.
